Parrish Goes To Portland: Vegan Authors Ray Sammartano and Beverly Lynn Bennett

Remember about 10 trillion years ago when we promised to debut a new video series, detailing some of our favorite vegan Oregonians called Parrish Goes To Portland? Well it might have taken us a few weeks, but here at the Razz we can never tell a lie!
Up first are vegan authors and Eugene, Oregon residents, Beverly Lynn Bennett and Ray Sammartano. Ray and Beverly are the authors of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Vegan Cooking, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Vegan Living and Vegan Bites. Along with that, Ray and Beverly run VeganChef.com and Beverly writes a column for our favorite magazine crush, VegNews.
I had the chance to visit the power duo’s home, sample some of Beverly’s amazing cooking (can anyone say raw desserts?) and dish about all things veg. Check out the Ecorazzi Exclusive video below!

Love the new series! I would love to see Parrish interacting with folks instead of just having the questions show up on the screen, though. And maybe turn the music down a little so we can hear the next interviewees better. Or maybe I’m just old and hard of hearing. Anyway, great concept, and I can’t wait to see more. Go vegan!
This would be a much better interview if the music came down in volume during the discussion. Why do you need to have it so loud. Its funky and sounds cool at the begining and it makes its point…TURN IT DOWN when the vegans are speaking..please!
