Recipe books

There's a wonderful array of vegan recipe books out there to cover all kinds of cuisine and cooking methods, including raw. The Vegan Society shop is a great place to start.

Our favourites:

  • The Cake Scoffer by Ronny
  • Vegan by Tony Weston & Yvonne Bishop (now Bishop-Weston) - sublime cooking. So popular that it has sold out almost everywhere, but is being reprinted in May 2007. Try the re-sellers at Amazon.co.uk and for signed copies go to the vegan cookbook website.
  • the Tofu cookbook (just watch out for the honey in the ingredients in some recipes - swap for a syrup) - sample recipe and to buy.
  • Vegan with a Vengeance and Veginity
  • Vegan Cooking for One
